A timed, step-by-step routine to upgrade one CBD product page: title, description, facts, lab link, internal links and a final check.

Pick your best-selling product. Set a timer for thirty minutes. Work through these steps in order. By the end, the page will be clearer for shoppers and easier for search engines to understand. Repeat it on the next product tomorrow.

Minutes 0 to 5: Read it like a shopper

Open the page on your phone. Can you tell what the product is, its strength and its format within a few seconds? Is the price easy to spot? Note anything confusing.

Minutes 5 to 10: Rewrite the title

Use the pattern: product name, format, strength, size. Keep it readable. Remove claims and stacked keywords. Update the meta title to match if your platform separates them.

Minutes 10 to 18: Replace the description

If the text came from a supplier, rewrite it. Cover what the product is, how it is made, what it contains, how it differs from your similar products and who it suits by preference, such as flavour or format. Keep it factual. No mention of conditions or effects.

Minutes 18 to 22: Add a facts block

  • Amount per serving and per pack
  • Full ingredient list
  • Hemp source and extraction type, if known
  • Batch number and date, where shown on the label

Minutes 22 to 25: Link the lab report

Upload the current certificate of analysis to your own site and link it near the facts block. Make sure the batch on the report matches what you sell.

Minutes 25 to 28: Add internal links

Link to the product’s category, two related products and any guide that mentions it. Make sure the category page links back.

Minutes 28 to 30: Final check

  • No health claims in title, description, images or reviews shown
  • Age or availability notice where required
  • Page loads quickly on mobile
  • Nothing left over from the old copy

What next

Repeat for your top ten products over two weeks. Then tidy your categories using the category answer and post a reviews policy using our wording guide. The full set lives on the playbooks page.
